intro to orisha (waitlist)

this is a 6-week foundational course on the orisha tradition. we will discuss the orisha pantheon, the practice of ifa in the african diaspora, ancestral reverence, iwa pele (balanced character), terms and terminology, insight from my journey to becoming a practitioner and an initiated priestess, and much more. 

the purpose of this course is to empower individuals with a basic understanding of the orisha tradition (lucumi). participating in this course does not commit you to the tradition, but provides a safe space to discuss how you can use the vast wisdom of african spirituality, along with practical tools, to invite more alignment and harmony into your life and support you in your spiritual development. classes will be held online via zoom each week. each class will be recorded and made available for viewing the following day. 

the investment for the course is $150 or $35 for an individual class. to reserve a space for the course, you must pay in full or make a deposit of $50. arrangements will be made for the remaining balance of $100 prior to the first class.

week 2 - you are the altar: understanding ori (your spiritual head).

week 3 - being altar(ed): honoring your ancestors.

week4 - orisha + the divine feminine: oshun + yemaya + oya with(in) you.

week 5 - orisha + the divine masculine: elegua + ogun + shango + obatala with(in) you.

week 6 - iwa pele: maintaining balanced character and tips for navigating your spiritual journey.
