intro to orisha class

this is a 6-week foundational course on the orisha tradition. we will discuss the orisha pantheon, the practice of ifa in the african diaspors, ancestral reverence, vocabulary, my journey to becoming a practitioner and an initiated priestess, and much more. the purpose of this class is to empower individuals with a basic understanding of the orisha tradition and the vast wisdom of african spirituality from the perspective of an initiated priest. this class does not commit you to the tradition. classes will be held online (via zoom) each tuesday beginning december 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm est and will conclude on january 19, 2021. each class will be recorded and emailed to you the following day. the investment for the class is $150. to reserve a space in the class, you may pay in full or make a deposit of $50. arrangements will be made for the remaining balance of $100 prior to the first class. if you have any questions about the class, please feel free to email me at iya@akomawellness.com.
