intro to orisha: class #1

this is a 6-week foundational course on the orisha tradition. we will discuss the orisha pantheon, the practice of ifa in the african diaspora, ancestral reverence, iwa pele (balanced character), terms and terminology, insight from my journey to becoming a practitioner and an initiated priestess, and much more.

the purpose of this course is to empower individuals with a basic understanding of the orisha tradition and the vast wisdom of african spirituality. participating in this course does not commit you to the tradition, but provides a sacred space to discuss how we can use this wisdom, along with practical tools, to invite more alignment and harmony into your life and support you in your spiritual development. classes will be held online via zoom each tuesday beginning february 21, 2022 at 7:00 pm est and will conclude on march 28, 2022. each class will be recorded and made available for viewing the following day for 1 week.

the investment for the course is $150 or $35 for an individual class. to reserve a space for the course, you must pay in full or make a deposit of $50. arrangements will be made for the remaining balance of $100 prior to the first class.
